Soil Conservation Conservation of Natural Resources
(Soil Conservation)
(Introduction)

Soil Conservation
1. Introduction
Soil is the Earth's most important natural resource. Agricultural production, vegetation, the water cycle, and human settlements—all are based on soil.
However, due to modern development, excessive agriculture, indiscriminate deforestation, mining, construction, and climate change, soil erosion is rapidly increasing.
That is why soil conservation is a key component of environmental management.
